Advanced Principles of Extremity Soft Tissue Diagnosis and Treatment by Manual Methods – Certified Chiropractic Extremities Practitioner

Areas beyond the articulations must be evaluated and may need adjustment for complete healing to occur. You will learn that the articulations and soft tissues of the body are directly related and continuous throughout the body. Attendees will learn hands-on methods for the evaluation and treatment of these conditions.

The course is 50% lecture and 50% hands-on, adjusting & technique workshop.

Objectives

At the end of this seminar, participants will be better able to

  • improve hands-on methods for the evaluation & treatment of:
    • myofascial syndromes;
    • peripheral and secular entrapments; and
    • muscle, tendon and ligamentous restrictions.
  • relieve pain and & prevent recidivism of chiropractic subluxation complexes through proper diagnosis and treatment of extremity soft tissue injuries.

01:00 – 02:00  Adjustive Technique Brief lecture on other soft tissue techniques including myofascial release and Graston Technique.
Brief introduction to the causes and effects of trigger points in the shoulder area.

Discounted Registrations

  • CCEPs: Current CCEPs quality for discounted registration until two (2) weeks before the event. CCEP registrations will be sent to CEA in advance of the course. Any CCEP registrants not in good standing with CEA will be charged the difference of their registration total on site, prior to the start of the seminar.
  • Students: Students are encourage to register at the steeply discounted rate for individual courses or the entire series. Non-LCCW students must provide verification of current enrollment at a CCE-accredited college prior to the course’s start date.
  • LCCW Students: LCCW students who would like to attend the CCEP Series may schedule a payment plan with the CE office. Visit office 137 between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm to sign up.

Meals

There will be an hour break for lunch Saturday, however lunch is not provided. There is no lunch break Sunday between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm, when the course concludes.

Coffee will be provided both days.
